Mae Mae’s start in life was anything but easy. She came from an overcrowded apartment with more than one hundred cats and kittens, where a well-meaning owner had become overwhelmed and unable to keep up. Then came a remarkable twist. Months earlier, Tara had adopted another cat from the same apartment—Goose. When she later spotted Mae Mae on MEOW’s website, she felt an immediate connection. After reaching out, she learned the truth: Mae Mae and Goose were not only from the same home, but likely family.
