Whether it’s emergency treatment due to injury or illness, or routine care, there are organizations that offer financial assistance to pet owners in need. Below is a list of resources. Many of them require an application be submitted and approved.
Feline Veterinary Emergency Assistance (FVEAP)
What they do: provide emergency financial assistance to cat and kitten guardians who are unable to afford veterinary services to save their companion with Vaccine Associated Sarcoma (VAS), also referred to as Injection Site Sarcoma (ISS).

Furry Faces Foundation
What they do: For companion animals whose people are financially restricted, provide assistance with healthy pet food, vaccines, unexpected Vet bills and other needs. Assistance is requested via email.

Red Rover
What they do: Provide financial grants for pet owners in need for pets with a life-threatening injury or illness that requires urgent and specific treatment. Candidates must submit an application.

What they do: Provide financial assistance for non-emergency veterinary care to pet owners in need.

What they do: Work with veterinarians to improve the lives of low income seniors and their pets within the Puget Sound community by providing monetary assistance for emergency veterinary care.

Brown Dog Foundation
What they do: Provide financial assistance to individuals seeking care for their pets. Priority is given to animals whose lives are in danger. Requires application and participation of your veterinarian.

The Onyx & Breezy Foundation
What they do: Provide financial grants to individuals and non-profits for veterinary treatment. Candidates must submit an application.

Harley’s Hope Foundation
What they do: Offer financial assistance, as resources allow, to assist with major or emergency veterinary care and behavioral or specialty training. Qualified candidates must complete the application for assistance found under the Applications tab and submit with proof of financial need.

What they do: Provide a health care financing plan to be used to pay veterinary bills. May require your veterinarian’s participation.

What they do: Assist in the care of sick, injured, abused and neglected dogs in non-life threateining situations through financial support and public education.” Candidates must complete an application.
