GiveBIG

At MEOW, compassion is at the core of who we are and all we do. Each and every day, our compassion drives us all – our staff, our volunteers, our adopters, our veterinary partners, and our supporters.

During GiveBig 2024 your compassion will translate into life changing and lifesaving action.

It will provide care and sheltering, facilitate adoptions, sustain our public spay/neuter voucher program for low-income families, provide outreach and education opportunities within our community, welcome the most vulnerable little ones into our foster care program, offer a loving home life to our Ninth Life long term foster cats, and secure emergency and specialty care for those whose very lives depend on it. With all of us working together, we can transform that compassion into action and make a wonderful difference in the lives of companion animals in need.

Last year during GiveBIG, you, our amazing supporters, donated over $36,500. This year, we, like everyone, are facing increased expenses in just about every area. If you gave last year, we are asking you to increase your donation by 10% to help us reach our goal of $40,000. If you are donating for the first time, thank you so much for joining with us and standing by our side. Your compassion allows us keep our promise to the precious ones we serve at MEOW!

Thank you for continuing to believe in MEOW, for turning your compassion into action for the animals who depend on all of us.

GiveBIG – Early Giving Now Available (4/23)

Give on May 7th or 8th, or give today. Whenever you give, you’ll be transforming your compassion into action for the animals!

At MEOW, we are proud and grateful that we can provide high quality of care to the animals who come to us in need of a soft place to land.

It’s certainly not uncommon for cats and kittens to arrive at the shelter carrying intestinal parasites, but Snap, Crackle, and Poppy brought one of the more persistent – cryptosporidium. It can cause diarrhea, fever, and inappetence. Untreated, it can lead to dehydration, weight loss, and much worse.
