I adopted Bonnie and Clyde on December 1, 2023. I had initially met them in early September, and it was “love at first sight”. However, I was not yet ready to adopt due to circumstances at the time. I was broken hearted but happy for Bonnie and Clyde when they were adopted in mid-September.
A couple of months went by and I was now in a position to adopt. I learned at that time that Bonnie and Clyde were once again available for adoption. It was meant to be!
Initially living in “their” room due to their shyness, they have now adjusted so well that they have the run of the house. They love laser pointers, wand toys, and chasing each other around the house. Bonnie “hunts” toy mice and presents them to me. She and Clyde are very devoted to each other and are never far apart.
I decided that a “happy ending” would be when they felt safe and secure in my house and chose to spend time with me. They have now started spending time with me in my study on work at home days and sometimes sleep with me at night.
Thank you for rescuing these beautiful, delightful cats. They light up the house.
