Dear Meow Cat Rescue!

In November of 2025, I came to visit Poppy and Dahlia at your shelter and immediately fell in love with their sweet, inquisitive spirits. I waited until I got my own place in January, hoping and praying they’d still be there by the time I moved. And they were! So the day after I moved, I went and scooped them up.

Since coming home with me, they have been the light of my life. They keep me company on the couch watching TV, at my desk working, and cuddled up in bed (Poppy in the crook of my neck, Dahlia at my right hip). They wake me up at 6:30 sharp to feed them breakfast, and they are relentless about getting me up to do so. They’re obsessed with feathers, ribbons, velvet, paper bags, and getting into trouble.
